Made4thecage are delighted to announce that James ‘The Juggernaut’ Mulheron(11-1) has been added to the UFC heavyweight roster.
Mulheron has been a loyal and valued fighter, featuring on a staggering 14 Made4thecage cards. He has become one of the top stars in the company, drawing a sell-out crowd at M4TC 23: Carnage, on which he retained his Heavyweight title against Ruben Wolf as you can see below:
James uploaded the following statement on Facebook to announce the good news, he wrote: “I have waited 10 years to write this status and I know everyone who knows me and loves me knows this means everything.
“I am elated to announce I have been added to the UFC heavyweight roster. This is a joint effort by everyone involved, from my strength and conditioning coach, friends and family, sponsors and sparring partners.
“I promise you all I will do everyone proud and South Shields. Much love, The Juggernaut.”
In his promotional debut, he will face Justin Willis (4-1) on the upcoming UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow on July 16th at the SSE Hydro Arena.
This will no doubt be a tough fight for James, Willis fights out of American Kickboxing Academy, a gym affiliated with notable fighters such as Daniel Cormier and Luke Rockhold.
It is fantastic to see a local fighter signing to the top MMA company in the world and it couldn’t happen to a nicer person. James is one of the most humble and down to earth fighters you will ever meet and fully deserves this break.
From everyone here at M4TC we wish you all the best James and thank you! Long live the Juggernaut!
