Steve Aimable looking to put on a show at Made4TheCage27: Vendetta

Steve ‘Diddy Kong’ Aimable will be looking to steal the show as he faces for M4TC Featherweight Champion Luke Ord when Made4TheCage returns for it’s 27th show Vendetta on February 24th.

Aimable, 9-4-0, has won seven of his last eight fights and will be looking to cement his place back in the UK’s elite rankings with a win over North-East based Ord, 5-2-1.

This will be Aimable’s first fight on Made4TheCage and the Essex fighter has promised a treat for the fans: “I always bring an exciting fight…

“All my fights are exciting, I can’t think of any of my fights other than that which have been boring to be fair. Always good striking, you’re always going to see a massive double leg no matter what.

Despite Ord’s championship pedigree, Aimable isn’t necessarily taking a step up in competition for this fight on paper, boasting wins over Scott Hunt and Chase Morton in his career to date.

Speaking on what he expects from Ord, Aimable said: “I’ve had a quick look at Luke and he seems like a good all-rounder but it’s nothing I haven’t seen before so it’s just getting ready the way I normally do, just getting in there, getting the hours in the gym.
“Some of the guys I’ve faced will have helped me prepare…I’m expecting Luke to be good, I’m not putting it down to the fact that I’ve faced better fighters so I don’t expect him to be as good as them. Every fight brings a different sort of skills to the table and it’s how well I can cope with it.

“I’ve been doing this for a long time now, 9 years of MMA, 3 or 4 years as a pro…I’m very calm and relaxed when I get in there and will stick to my game plan.”

With Ord fighting in his home region, Aimable is expecting a lot of support for the Durham fighter.

However, ‘Diddy Kong’ insists this will only spur him on: “Luke’s a home talent so he’s going to bring a lot of support and I’m a long way away so I’m going to be up against a good crowd but that’s not going to phase me, it’s just going to make me motivated to win and put on a good show.

They’re going to get a good show, that’s all they need to know.“

Ord vs Aimable will be one of many great fights headlining the card, with more to be announced within the coming weeks.Make sure to follow us on Facebook  and Twitter for the latest up to date news and announcements on M4TC27 : Vendetta.
