Ryan ‘The Bull’ Copland (5-4) will be fighting Nathan Court (3-1) in a welterweight pro fight at Made4TheCage 8: Impact on Sunday 16th December at the Rainton Meadows Arena.

This fight has all the makings of a war on Sunday night with two guys willing to stand and trade, plus there is some bad-blood between the two fighters that will add to excitement as the cage door closes.

Court tails a three-fight winning streak this year after a knockout in March over Enzo Parente which set the ball rolling and then two successive submission victories came in June and July.

But ‘The Bull’ has seen red as his opponent has had some choice words for him during the build up to this fight.

Copland said: “I can’t wait for the cage door to shut especially after the disrespectful build up by Nathan Court. No one wants to lose to a guy who is abusing them at every opportunity, but he can play the clown. I am not going to lower myself or dishonour my coaches and team by retaliating, talk is cheap in MMA.”

The welterweight will be making his comeback after an injury has kept him cage-side for the last two years but the heavy-hitter is getting all the motivation he needs.

‘The Bull’ said: “ he can create all the lime-light he wants for himself, by telling lies, fabricating scenarios and calling me mean names, I am not going to cry myself to sleep too much. I will do my talking on Sunday 16th when the bell rings.”

Copland expressed his gratitude about fighting in the Northeast’s biggest MMA promotion. He said: “I am extremely grateful to be given the chance to fight at Made4TheCage, it’s an awesome event with a real buzz surrounding it.”

Both fighters have tasted success in the octagon, with Copland hungry to get back in the cage and Court desperate to carry on his winning momentum, this should be a great fight to watch.
