Prodigy Adam Proctor shines in Co-Main Event

Adam Proctor wins at Made4TheCage

North-East fighter Adam Proctor secured his place as ‘one to watch’ in UK MMA with a first round submission over South African Roger Griffin.

Proctor looked to gain the early advantage, utilising his excellent wrestling to gain the early take down.

The rising start then eased past Griffin’s guard to gain side mount before moving to an even more dominant back mount.

Griffin defended the early onslaught well but looked to be outclassed on the ground by the young prodigy.

Several rear naked choke attempts went in in the opening minute before Proctor finally clinched in a tight choke.

Griffin looked to escape but eventually succumbed, tapping out and giving Proctor the victory. This is the second victory in as many shows for Proctor who will now be looking for a rise in level of competition. One thing is for sure though, that this young fighter is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

At just 19 years old and under the tutelage of Cage Warriors World Champion Alex Enlund, he could very well go all the way in this sport.
