Punshon demonstrated extremely aggressive striking in his last outing against Stuart Tyrie at M4TC 9 where he finished the fight within the three rounds.
Punshon said: “You will defiantly see some aggression but at the right moment. I am always working on being calmer and more reserved but I love to fight the aggressiveness comes naturally.”
‘The Predator’ clashes will Matt Ewin who is very experienced and a gritty fighter who has notched wins at shows like BAMMA.
Punsh said: “Yes Matt is an extremely experienced fighter and he is well respected that is why I asked for this fight. I know it will be tough and it is going to be a great fight.”
Punshon, however, has enough tools in his arsenal to really push forward in the middleweight division as he expressed before his last fight: he wants to smash his way through the middleweight division.
His exciting and aggressive finish has earned him a title shot against a very game opponent, a win here could see ‘The Predator’ take his career into the upper echelon of MMA.
He said: “I stand by what I said, I want to smash the middleweight division and keep climbing the rankings, and a win over Matt will be a great name to my record.
“I just want to get great fights maybe get back to BAMMA or Cage Warriors, I have a lot of fights under my belt and I am ready to take the next step.
“I believe in myself 110% and I want to reach the UFC that is my dream, I would sign a contact tomorrow if it came my way.”
This fight is placed in the co-main event of the evening, which promises to be an exciting display of aggressive and powerful striking. A fight of the night contender.
